Green Ribbon Group and Pahang Rangers: Championing minds and hearts: The PRFC Story

Kuantan, July 29 – Green Ribbon Group has partnered up with Pahang Rangers for the mini docuseries in raising awareness on Men’s mental health in November.

The primary focus of the docuseries is on addressing men’s mental health in the workplace while also promoting a balanced work-life dynamic.

The selection of Pahang Rangers as the chosen team for the GRG project for the men’s mental health is because of the team’s diverse backgrounds which allows them to strategically shape the mindset, with a primary focus on championing minds and hearts.

Nonetheless, the Green Ribbon Group project covered several episodes from different perspectives including from men with multiple responsibilities, team captain and head coach, management leaders, youth academy, and last but not least from men’s perspective in general.

Featuring several episodes in giving exposure to different angles of discussion such as:

  1. Everything in moderation
  2. The champion mentality
  3. Supporting the community
  4. Supporting the young male
  5. Movember

In the second episode, Gerard Casas said “I really think our pressure is a privilege”, adding that he perceived that pressure from professional sports is a positive one.

Meanwhile, captain of Pahang Rangers, Akmarulnizam, emphasized on the chemistry that helps them grow stronger.

Hence, we aspire that this initiative will increase awareness about men’s mental health within the Pahang futsal community.
